I was really looking foward to the 600rr, but the gsx-r won out in my mind, so that's what I bought. on the 600 its an INSANE amount of oil, it would be probably around 10 quarts or more to get it to spill out of the fill hole. Can any GSXR owners give me their thoughts on this? Whichever bike I get I will probably keep for around 3 years and probably clock up 12-15k miles on. x Cookie and Data Use Consent We use cookies to improve your experience on this website and so that ads you see online can be tailored to your online browsing interests. If you don't have stands and your bike is on the kick stand then after the initial 2.5 quarts put oil in SLOWLY till you just see it at the bottom of the sight glass, run the bike for a few minutes and shut her down then level the bike to check the sight glass again, you should be right where your suppose to be if not add a tad more oil. thats a lot of oil. ..
